Amend CSSB 1366 as follows:
      (1)  In SECTION 1 of the bill, in amended Section
52.021(b)(2), Government Code (Senate Committee Printing line 21),
following "shorthand reporter;", strike "or".
      (2)  In SECTION 1 of the bill, in amended Section
52.021(b)(3)(B), Government Code (Senate Committee Printing line
30), between "supreme court" and ".", insert the following:
            ; or
            (4)  an independent contractor for or is employed by a
court reporting firm owned by an attorney licensed in this state
who is a member in good standing of the State Bar of Texas
