Amend CSSB 1735 by adding the following appropriately
numbered section and renumbering the sections of the bill as
appropriate:
      SECTION ____.  Section 56.54, Code of Criminal Procedure, is
amended by adding Subsection (j) to read as follows:
      (j)  The legislature may appropriate money in the
compensation to victims of crime fund to administer the associate
judge program under Subchapter C, Chapter 201, Family Code.
