Amend Committee Report for SB 1823, page 1, line 26, in
Subsection (2), after the word "state" and before the period (.),
add the words "and approved by the department" so the full
subsection reads:
      (2)  a bid bond issued by a surety authorized to do business
in this state and approved by the department.
      (3)  The department may accept a bid bond for a project if
the department estimates the contract costs to be less than five
million dollars.
