DIGEST

The 75th Legislature enacted legislation transferring the Texas Water Well
Drillers Advisory Council and the Water Well Drillers and Pump Installers
Program (program) from the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission
to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (department). This
change in jurisdiction removed the program from representation on the Texas
Groundwater Protection Committee (committee). This bill would add a
representative of the program chosen by the director of the department to
the committee.

Pump Installers Program, chosen by the director of the Texas Department of

This bill does not grant any additional rulemaking authority to a state
officer, institution, or agency.
