DIGEST

Government Code Section 22.001 is the statute granting jurisdiction to the
Texas Supreme Court. The six subdivisions of the section list the areas in
which the legislature has given the court jurisdiction. Only subdivision

that meets the requirements of one of the subdivision. S.B. 1432 clarifies
the supreme court's jurisdiction to accept or reject all cases within its
jurisdictional limits.
