SRC-JXG S.B. 1545 76(R) BILL ANALYSIS Senate Research Center S.B. 1545 By: Sibley Administration 3/30/1999 As Filed DIGEST Currently, Texas law authorizes the Texas State Cemetery Committee (committee) to authorize the burial of a person only during a period in which the legislature is not convened, and only if the committee finds that the person to be buried made a significant contribution to Texas history.
