1-2 relating to the appointment of members to the Board of Law
 1-3 Examiners.
1-4 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1-5 SECTION 1. Section 82.001(c), Government Code, is amended to
 1-6 read as follows:
1-7 (c) Appointments shall be made without regard to race,
1-8 color, disability [creed], sex, religion, age, or national origin.

1-10 an appointment made before the effective date of this Act.
1-11 SECTION 3. The importance of this legislation and the

1-16 and that this Act take effect and be in force from and after its
