1-1 AN ACT 1-2 relating to educational requirements for the executive director of 1-3 the Texas Animal Health Commission. 1-4 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: 1-5 SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 161, Agriculture Code, is 1-6 amended by adding Section 161.0305 to read as follows: 1-7 Sec. 161.0305. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR; QUALIFICATIONS. The 1-8 executive director must hold a degree in veterinary medicine. 1-9 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 1999. 1-10 SECTION 3.
