                                A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
 1-1                                   AN ACT
 1-2     relating to the substitution of certain drugs by a pharmacist.
 1-3           BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
 1-4           SECTION 1.  Subsection (m), Section 40, Texas Pharmacy Act
 1-5     (Article 4542a-1, 1-5 Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes), as amended by
 1-6     Section 21, Chapter 1180, Acts of the 75th Legislature, 1997, is
 1-7     repealed.
 1-8           SECTION 2.  The importance of this legislation and the
 1-9     crowded condition of the calendars in both houses create an
1-10     emergency and an imperative public necessity that the
1-11     constitutional rule requiring bills to be read on three several
1-12     days in each house be suspended, and this rule is hereby suspended.
