                                A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
 1-1                                   AN ACT
 1-2     relating to school district disciplinary services and data
 1-3     collection for children seven years of age or younger.
 1-4           BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
 1-5           SECTION 1.  Section 37.006(f), Education Code, is amended by
 1-6     adding subsection (f) to read as follows:
 1-7           (f)  Subject to Section 37.007(e), a student who is 7 years
 1-8     of age or younger shall not be removed from class and placed in an
 1-9     alternative education program.
