HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION 1-1 WHEREAS, The Texas Legislature is proud to honor Deborah 1-2 Allen-White on her selection as one of the Fort Worth Independent 1-3 School District's Outstanding Teachers; and 1-4 WHEREAS, This noteworthy individual was recently honored at 1-5 the school district's 14th Annual Outstanding Teacher Recognition 1-6 Dinner; hosted by local businesses and district officials, the 1-7 dinner took place at the Round Up Inn in the Amon G. Carter, Jr., 1-8 Exhibits Hall and featured a swing-time theme; and 1-9 WHEREAS, A teacher at Harlean Beal Elementary School, she 1-10 and the other exemplary educators chosen to be honored were 1-11 selected by their peers for their commitment and dedication to 1-12 students; and 1-13 WHEREAS, Children are the Lone Star State's most precious 1-14 natural resource, and a quality education is vital in order for our 1-15 young people to achieve their full potential; Deborah Allen-White 1-16 has demonstrated the drive and determination that we expect from 1-17 our teachers, and she is truly deserving of special legislative 1-18 recognition for her diligence and commitment to excellence in this 1-19 demanding profession; now, therefore, be it 1-20 RESOLVED, That the 76th Legislature of the State of Texas 1-21 hereby congratulate Deborah Allen-White for being named one of the 1-22 Fort Worth Independent School District's Outstanding Teachers and 1-23 commend her for her superior service to the children of Texas; and, 1-24 be it further 2-1 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 2-2 prepared for this esteemed individual as an expression of high 2-3 regard by the Texas House of Representatives and Senate.
