                             HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
 1-1           WHEREAS, House Bill No. 2617 has been adopted by the house of
 1-2     representatives and the senate; and
 1-3           WHEREAS, The bill contains a technical error that should be
 1-4     corrected; now, therefore, be it
 1-5           RESOLVED, That the enrolling clerk of the house of
 1-6     representatives be hereby instructed to correct House Bill No. 2617
 1-7     as follows:
 1-8           (1)  Strike the recital for the section added by Senate Floor
 1-9     Amendment No. 2 and substitute the following:
1-10           Section 13, Private Investigators and Private Security
1-11     Agencies Act (Article 4413(29bb), Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes),
1-12     is amended by adding Subsections (d), (e), and (f) to read as
1-13     follows:
1-14           (2)  Substitute the following subsection, to be added to
1-15     Section 13, Private Investigators and Private Security Agencies Act
1-16     (Article 4413(29bb), Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes), for Senate
1-17     Floor Amendment No.  3, which amended Senate Floor Amendment No. 2:
1-18           (f)  Subsections (d) and (e) of this section do not apply to
1-19     a municipality with a population of less than 50,000.
