                             HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
 1-1           WHEREAS, House Bill No. 1491 has been adopted by the house of
 1-2     representatives and the senate; and
 1-3           WHEREAS, The bill contains a technical error that should be
 1-4     corrected;  now, therefore, be it
 1-5           RESOLVED, That the enrolling clerk of the house of
 1-6     representatives be hereby instructed to correct House Bill No. 1491
 1-7     by striking proposed Section 5.12(e), Medical Practice Act (Article
 1-8     4495b, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes), as added by Senate Floor
 1-9     Amendment No.  1, and substituting the following:
1-10           (e) A private medical school certified under Subsection (d)
1-11     of this section must provide to the board a biennial report
1-12     certifying that the school is in compliance with this section.  If
1-13     the board determines at any time that the private medical school
1-14     has failed to comply with this section, the board may suspend or
1-15     revoke the school's certification.
