HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
 1-1           WHEREAS, House Bill No. 844 has been adopted by the house of
 1-2     representatives and the senate and is being prepared for
 1-3     enrollment; and
 1-4           WHEREAS, The bill contains a technical error that should be
 1-5     corrected; now, therefore, be it
 1-6           RESOLVED by the 76th Legislature of the State of Texas, That
 1-7     the enrolling clerk of the house of representatives be instructed
 1-8     to correct House Bill No. 844, in SECTION 2 of the bill, as
 1-9     follows:
1-10           (1)  In amended Section 466.015(d), Government Code, between
1-11     "by which" and "in the preceding fiscal year" (conference committee
1-12     report, page 3, lines 18 and 19), strike "the gross revenue from
1-13     the sale of tickets" and substitute "the total amount of lottery
1-14     prizes awarded by the commission".
1-15           (2)  In added Section 466.015(e), Government Code, between
1-16     "by which" and "in the fiscal year" (conference committee report,
1-17     page 4, lines 3 and 4), strike "the gross revenue from the sale of
1-18     tickets" and substitute "the total amount of lottery prizes awarded
1-19     by the commission".
