                                 R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, Kevin P. Garrity has been awarded the prestigious
 1-2     rank of Eagle Scout, and this noteworthy accomplishment is truly
 1-3     worthy of special praise and recognition; and
 1-4           WHEREAS, Eagle Scout Garrity is a valued member of Troop 28,
 1-5     sponsored by the First United Methodist Church in Colleyville, and
 1-6     he has earned the respect and admiration of his fellow scouts
 1-7     through his strong commitment to scouting's ideals; his dedication
 1-8     to these worthy principles will no doubt inspire other members of
 1-9     his troop to aspire to the rank of Eagle Scout as well; and
1-10           WHEREAS, Mr. Garrity has successfully mastered the many
1-11     diverse skills required of an Eagle Scout; he received his silver
1-12     insignia at his Eagle Scout Court of Honor Ceremony on Sunday,
1-13     January 24, 1999, and
1-14           WHEREAS, The leadership demonstrated by Mr. Garrity in
1-15     completing his Eagle Scout project and requirements will serve him
1-16     well as he faces the challenges and opportunities awaiting him
1-17     along life's road, and we can no doubt expect even greater things
1-18     from this remarkable young Texan in the future; now, therefore, be
1-19     it
1-20           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
1-21     prepared for Mr. Garrity as an expression of high regard by the
 2-1     Texas House of Representatives.
