R E S O L U T I O N 1-1 WHEREAS, The passing of Ocie Lee Hall on December 2, 1998, at 1-2 the age of 76, has brought a great loss to the many friends and 1-3 relatives of this esteemed woman; and 1-4 WHEREAS, Born on March 1, 1922, in Hugo, Oklahoma, Mrs. Hall 1-5 later made her home in Texas; she worked at Parkland Memorial 1-6 Hospital, retiring in 1985 after a long association as a highly 1-7 valued employee; and 1-8 WHEREAS, She married Arthemer Hall on March 10, 1955, and 1-9 enjoyed a strong and happy relationship with her husband; they were 1-10 blessed with two daughters, and through the years their family was 1-11 enhanced with the addition of four grandchildren and seven 1-12 great-grandchildren; and 1-13 WHEREAS, Mrs. Hall was cherished by her family as a devoted 1-14 wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother; and 1-15 WHEREAS, Those who were privileged to share the friendship of 1-16 Mrs. Hall will long miss her presence, and she will surely be 1-17 remembered with great affection and admiration for many years to 1-18 come; now, therefore, be it 1-19 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 76th Texas 1-20 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Ocie Lee Hall and 1-21 extend deepest sympathy to the members of her family: to her 1-22 husband, Arthemer Hall; to her daughters, Velma Lee Guest and 1-23 Esther Elaine Hall; to her granddaughters, Marsha Willis, 1-24 Jacqueline Mitchell, Winnetta Stuart, and Lasonya Smith; and to the 2-1 many other relatives and friends of this fine woman; and, be it 2-2 further 2-3 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 2-4 prepared for the members of her family and that when the Texas 2-5 House of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of 2-6 Ocie Lee Hall.
