R E S O L U T I O N 1-1 WHEREAS, The recent passing of Warren A. "Bob" Burt on 1-2 January 24, 1999, at the age of 77, has brought a great loss to the 1-3 family and many friends of this esteemed gentleman; and 1-4 WHEREAS, Born on October 29, 1921, in Canton, Georgia, 1-5 Mr. Burt moved to Texas where he met his wife-to-be; he married 1-6 Frankie Burt on December 27, 1958, and spent the next 40 years with 1-7 the love of his life; and 1-8 WHEREAS, A dedicated man, Mr. Burt was an employee with the 1-9 Texas House of Representatives and was a devoted Mason for over 50 1-10 years with the Ben Hur Shrine; and 1-11 WHEREAS, Those who were privileged to share the love and 1-12 friendship of Bob Burt will long miss his presence and guidance, 1-13 and he will surely be remembered with great affection and 1-14 admiration for many years to come; now, therefore, be it 1-15 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 76th Texas 1-16 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Warren A. "Bob" Burt 1-17 and extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his 1-18 wife, Frankie Burt; to his son and daughter-in-law, Hank and Nancy 1-19 Hampton; to his granddaughters and their husbands, Lisa and Scott 1-20 Dove and Lesli and Tracy Dove; to his grandson, Scott Hampton; to 1-21 his great-granddaughter, Shelby Dove; to his great-grandson, Trey 1-22 Dove; to Robert Frost, Kenneth Frost, and Linda Groetz; and to the 1-23 many other relatives and friends of this distinguished gentleman; 1-24 and, be it further 2-1 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 2-2 prepared for the members of his family and that when the Texas 2-3 House of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of 2-4 Warren A.
