                                 R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, The members of the Texas House of Representatives
 1-2     are proud to honor Steve Robertson for being named Citizen of the
 1-3     Year by the Greater Kaufman Chamber of Commerce; and
 1-4           WHEREAS, Mr. Robertson is a native of Kaufman, and he
 1-5     graduated from high school in Kaufman in 1979 and from Texas A&M
 1-6     University in 1984; he currently serves as the branch president of
 1-7     American National Bank; and
 1-8           WHEREAS, A dedicated community leader, Mr. Robertson is a
 1-9     member of the board of directors of the Terrell/Kaufman United Way
1-10     and has previously served as chairman of the Greater Kaufman
1-11     Chamber of Commerce and as president of the Kaufman Lions Club; and
1-12           WHEREAS, Throughout his years of service to the Kaufman
1-13     community, Mr. Robertson has been supported by a loving family that
1-14     includes his wife, Lorie, and his daughters, Morgan and Brook; and
1-15           WHEREAS, The citizens of Kaufman have benefited tremendously
1-16     from Steve Robertson's efforts as an advocate for those in his
1-17     community; he has truly exhibited visionary leadership through his
1-18     many endeavors, and it is indeed appropriate that he be commended
1-19     at this time; now, therefore, be it
1-20           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 76th Texas
1-21     Legislature hereby honor Steve Robertson for being recognized as
1-22     the Kaufman Citizen of the Year and extend to him sincere best
1-23     wishes for continued success and happiness; and, be it further
1-24           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 2-1     prepared for Mr. Robertson as an expression of high regard by the
 2-2     Texas House of Representatives.
