R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is proud to honor
 1-2     the members of the Magic Circle Republican Women's Club for their
 1-3     outstanding service in behalf of their fellow Texans; and
 1-4           WHEREAS, Formed in 1979, Magic Circle is celebrating its 20th
 1-5     anniversary, and the club is now one of the largest Republican
 1-6     women's clubs not only in Texas but also in the nation; its many
 1-7     dedicated members have given generously of their time and talents
 1-8     to work on numerous political endeavors, chairing campaigns and
 1-9     phone banks, preparing and performing radio advertisements, and
1-10     publishing an informative newsletter, and their efforts have
1-11     strongly encouraged political participation in the community; and
1-12           WHEREAS, These remarkable women have also been involved in a
1-13     number of important community service initiatives, including a
1-14     literacy program and a cancer awareness project, that have greatly
1-15     enhanced the lives of all Texans; the club performs yet another
1-16     vital function by inspiring each of its members to realize her
1-17     highest potential, and it currently boasts several elected
1-18     officials and appointees in its membership roles; and
1-19           WHEREAS, Throughout its proud history, the Magic Circle
1-20     Republican Women's Club has served the State of Texas with honor
1-21     and distinction, and it is truly a pleasure  to recognize all those
1-22     associated with the organization for their fine efforts; now,
1-23     therefore, be it
1-24           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 76th Texas
 2-1     Legislature hereby honor the members of the Magic Circle Republican
 2-2     Women's Club for their exceptional contributions to the Lone Star
 2-3     State; and, be it further
 2-4           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 2-5     prepared for the members of the Magic Circle Republican Women's
 2-6     Club as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of
 2-7     Representatives.
