                                 R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, On March 15, 1999, George Franklin Robertson IV of
 1-2     Corsicana will visit the State Capitol to observe the governmental
 1-3     process and fulfill a merit badge requirement on his way to
 1-4     becoming an Eagle Scout, and this outstanding young man is indeed
 1-5     worthy of special recognition; and
 1-6           WHEREAS, An honors student who is a freshman at Corsicana
 1-7     High School, Mr. Robertson is active in the Air Force Junior ROTC
 1-8     program and has participated in the Turn Around Corsicana antidrug
 1-9     program; this creative and responsible young man is not only a
1-10     future Eagle Scout but is also an aspiring paleontologist; and
1-11           WHEREAS, In order to meet the rigorous qualifications
1-12     necessary to become an Eagle Scout, Mr. Robertson needs to earn two
1-13     more merit badges and complete a community project; his visit to
1-14     the State Capitol will satisfy his "Citizenship in the Nation"
1-15     merit badge, and his impending community project will be to
1-16     beautify a cemetery in Corsicana; and
1-17           WHEREAS, George Franklin Robertson IV is a talented young man
1-18     who faces a future bright with promise, and in light of his efforts
1-19     to ascend to the rank of Eagle Scout, it is most fitting that he be
1-20     recognized at this time; now, therefore, be it
1-21           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 76th Texas
1-22     Legislature hereby honor George Franklin Robertson IV for his many
1-23     outstanding achievements and extend to him sincere best wishes for
1-24     continued success and happiness; and, be it further
 2-1           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 2-2     prepared for Mr. Robertson as an expression of high regard by the
 2-3     Texas House of Representatives.
