R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, The passing of Isidoro S. "Lolo" Dominguez on August
 1-2     24, 1998, at the age of 70, brought a great loss to the many
 1-3     friends and relatives of this esteemed Alpine resident; and
 1-4           WHEREAS, An Alpine native, Mr. Dominguez was born on January
 1-5     12, 1928, to Carlos and Carlota Dominguez and took as his wife the
 1-6     former Virginia Garcia, with whom he shared nearly half a century
 1-7     of mutual happiness and devotion; and
 1-8           WHEREAS, For 20 years, this industrious individual was a
 1-9     highly valued employee at Sul Ross State University, where he held
1-10     the position of building maintenance superintendent; and
1-11           WHEREAS, Isidoro Dominguez was a man of rare dedication and
1-12     generosity; although his warmth and wisdom are gone from us now,
1-13     his remarkable spirit will surely live on in the hearts of the many
1-14     people whose lives he touched during his time on this earth; now,
1-15     therefore, be it
1-16           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 76th Texas
1-17     Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Isidoro Dominguez and
1-18     extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his wife,
1-19     Virginia Dominguez; to his children, Leo Dominguez, Tommy
1-20     Dominguez, Diamantina Espinoza, and Bernice Portillo; to his
1-21     brother, Carlos Dominguez, Jr.; to his sisters, Josephine
1-22     Benavides, Sulema Villalva, Elisa Hernandez, Elma Garza, and Rosa
1-23     Alaniz; to his 10 grandchildren; to his great-grandchild; and to
1-24     the many other friends and relatives of this beloved gentleman;
 2-1     and, be it further
 2-2           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 2-3     prepared for the members of his family and that when the Texas
 2-4     House of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of
 2-5     Isidoro S. "Lolo" Dominguez.
