R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is proud to honor
 1-2     Samuel A.  Yochmowitz of Boy Scout Troop 475 on completing the
 1-3     requirements necessary to attain the rank of Eagle Scout; and
 1-4           WHEREAS, Receiving the Eagle Scout badge is an extremely rare
 1-5     honor, bestowed on only a fraction of those who enter the scouting
 1-6     movement, and by meeting the rank's demanding criteria,
 1-7     Mr. Yochmowitz has achieved a truly remarkable feat; and
 1-8           WHEREAS, Eagle Scout Yochmowitz is a source of tremendous
 1-9     pride to his parents, Michael and Yolanda-Maria Yochmowitz, and to
1-10     his fellow scouts in Troop 475; and
1-11           WHEREAS, Currently an honor student at Winston Churchill High
1-12     School, he participates in JROTC and is also an active member of
1-13     St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, which he serves as an
1-14     usher; and
1-15           WHEREAS, Mr. Yochmowitz will receive his silver insignia and
1-16     join the ranks of scouting's elite in a traditional ceremony to be
1-17     held on April 24, 1999, at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church,
1-18     and it is most appropriate that he be honored for his achievement
1-19     at this time; now, therefore, be it
1-20           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 76th Texas
1-21     Legislature hereby congratulate Samuel A. Yochmowitz on attaining
1-22     the rank of Eagle Scout and extend to him sincere best wishes for
1-23     continued success and happiness; and, be it further
1-24           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 2-1     prepared for Eagle Scout Yochmowitz as an expression of high regard
 2-2     by the Texas House of Representatives.
