R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is proud to
 1-2     commemorate the recent marriage of Frank Sinatra, Jr., and Cynthia
 1-3     White Sinatra, and to welcome them to the State Capitol; and
 1-4           WHEREAS, The Sinatras were married on October 15, 1998, in
 1-5     Wharton, Texas, and their happy announcement came as no great
 1-6     surprise to those in the know, for the couple were destined to make
 1-7     beautiful music together right from the start; and
 1-8           WHEREAS, Mr. Sinatra is, of course, a singer, pianist, and
 1-9     conductor of immense talent who is beloved by fans throughout this
1-10     state and nation; widely known for his stunning renditions of
1-11     timeless classics of the big band era, he has delighted audiences
1-12     in theaters and showrooms nationwide and can bring a crowd to its
1-13     feet faster than even the most vocal member of this chamber, and
1-14     that is high praise indeed; and
1-15           WHEREAS, Mrs. Sinatra is also no stranger to packed houses or
1-16     late-night sessions, as she is a former legislative staffer and a
1-17     talented singer herself; from her days as Miss Austin to her
1-18     present post as an international lawyer for the United Nations in
1-19     The Hague, this Lone Star native shines brightly in all she does,
1-20     and her natural charm and grace have surely expanded the image of
1-21     Texas women far beyond those synonymous with the residents of
1-22     Southfork Ranch or Tuna, Texas; and
1-23           WHEREAS, Though Mr. Sinatra has traveled extensively, he
1-24     found a Texas treasure for his wife, and the members of this
 2-1     chamber would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the
 2-2     Sinatras, for their marriage clearly "S' Wonderful"; now,
 2-3     therefore, be it
 2-4           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 76th Texas
 2-5     Legislature hereby commemorate the recent wedding of Frank Sinatra,
 2-6     Jr., and Cynthia White Sinatra and extend to them sincere best
 2-7     wishes for continued success and happiness; and, be it further
 2-8           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 2-9     prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Sinatra as an expression of highest
2-10     regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
