R E S O L U T I O N
1-1 WHEREAS, The passing of the Honorable Jack Ridgeway brought a
1-2 great loss to the family, friends, and associates of this notable
1-3 Texan; and
1-4 WHEREAS, Demonstrating both wisdom and integrity, this
1-5 distinguished gentleman served as a member of the Texas House of
1-6 Representatives during the 47th, 48th, 50th, and 51st legislative
1-7 sessions; and
1-8 WHEREAS, While a representative, Mr. Ridgeway represented the
1-9 San Antonio area with great pride and vigor and was instrumental in
1-10 many important legislative undertakings, earning him the abiding
1-11 respect and admiration of his peers and the community he so
1-12 diligently served; and
1-13 WHEREAS, Jack Ridgeway leaves behind an exceptional legacy
1-14 forged by many years of dedication and hard work, and although he
1-15 will be deeply missed, his remarkable spirit will continue to live
1-16 on in the hearts and minds of all those fortunate enough to have
1-17 known him; now, therefore, be it
1-18 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 76th Texas
1-19 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of the Honorable Jack
1-20 Ridgeway and extend sincere sympathy to the family and many friends
1-21 of this esteemed gentleman; and, be it further
1-22 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
1-23 prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
1-24 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Jack
2-1 Ridgeway.
