R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, April 28, 1999, will forever be a special day in the
 1-2     lives of Elizabeth and Allen Blakemore, for it marked the occasion
 1-3     of the birth of their adorable baby daughter, Sarah Allen
 1-4     Blakemore; and
 1-5           WHEREAS, Sarah Allen weighed six pounds, 14 ounces, and
 1-6     measured 20 inches in length when she made her debut at 1:37 p.m.
 1-7     on this celebrated April day; and
 1-8           WHEREAS, The long-awaited arrival of this charming new Texan
 1-9     has brought great joy to her parents, as well as to her big sister,
1-10     Charlotte; her maternal grandparents, Karen and C. Bedford
1-11     Harrison; and her paternal grandparents, Barbara and John
1-12     Blakemore; and
1-13           WHEREAS, It gives the members of this chamber great pleasure
1-14     to formally announce the birth of a new citizen of the Lone Star
1-15     State and to congratulate her parents on this joyous occasion; now,
1-16     therefore, be it
1-17           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 76th Texas
1-18     Legislature hereby officially welcome Sarah Allen Blakemore as a
1-19     new citizen of Texas and extend heartfelt congratulations to
1-20     Elizabeth and Allen Blakemore on the birth of their cherished new
1-21     daughter; and, be it further           RESOLVED, That an official
1-22     copy of this resolution be prepared for Sarah Allen Blakemore and
1-23     her parents as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of
1-24     Representatives.
