R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, January 19, 1999, was indeed a special day in the
 1-2     lives of Tracy and Dana Davis, for it marked the occasion of the
 1-3     birth of their beautiful baby daughter, Arren MacKenzie Davis; and
 1-4           WHEREAS, Arren MacKenzie weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces, and
 1-5     measured 21 inches in length when she made her debut at 10:53 p.m.
 1-6     on that celebrated January evening; and
 1-7           WHEREAS, The long-awaited arrival of this adorable new Texan
 1-8     has brought great joy to her parents, as well as to her big sister,
 1-9     Ashley; her maternal grandparents, Jimmy and Minnie Clark; her
1-10     paternal grandmother, Geraldine Williams; her great-grandmother,
1-11     Mozelle Carr; and her many other relatives and special friends,
1-12     including Carolyn Smith, Renee Carr, Kenneth Carr, Pamela Clark,
1-13     Jason Clark, Rochelle Carr, Kascie Smith, Cleophus Smith, Portia
1-14     Carr, Felicia Pitre, and Julian Harrison; and
1-15           WHEREAS, It gives the members of this chamber great pleasure
1-16     to formally announce the birth of a new citizen of the Lone Star
1-17     State and to congratulate her parents; now, therefore, be it
1-18           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 76th Texas
1-19     Legislature hereby officially welcome Arren MacKenzie Davis as a
1-20     new citizen of Texas and extend heartfelt congratulations to Tracy
1-21     and Dana Davis on the birth of their cherished new daughter; and,
1-22     be it further
1-23           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
1-24     prepared for Arren MacKenzie Davis and her parents as an expression
 2-1     of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
