                                 R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, April 9, 1999, was indeed a special day for Carri
 1-2     and Tullos Wells, for it marked the occasion of the birth of their
 1-3     adorable baby girl, McKensie Lynd Wells; and
 1-4           WHEREAS, This charming beauty weighed 6 pounds, 3 ounces, and
 1-5     measured 19 inches in length when she made her debut at 6:12 p.m.
 1-6     on the Friday following Easter; and
 1-7           WHEREAS, Blessed with an irresistible smile and a winning
 1-8     personality, McKensie has brought great joy into the lives of her
 1-9     parents and many new admirers; and
1-10           WHEREAS, The birth of a new Texan is always a momentous
1-11     occasion and the members of this chamber take great pleasure in
1-12     formally announcing McKensie's birth and honoring her delighted
1-13     parents; now, therefore, be it
1-14           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 76th Texas
1-15     Legislature hereby officially welcome McKensie Lynd Wells as a new
1-16     citizen of Texas and extend heartfelt congratulations to Carri and
1-17     Tullos Wells on the birth of their cherished new daughter; and, be
1-18     it further
1-19           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
1-20     prepared for McKensie and her parents as an expression of high
1-21     regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
