R E S O L U T I O N 1-1 WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is proud to honor 1-2 the members of the Bridgeport High School Class of 1999 on the 1-3 momentous occasion of their graduation; and 1-4 WHEREAS, The exceptional young men and women who compose the 1-5 school's senior class can proudly reflect on their many 1-6 accomplishments as they stand on the threshold of a future bright 1-7 with promise; and 1-8 WHEREAS, Among the group of graduates are 12 classmates who 1-9 have successfully pursued their academic careers together since 1-10 1985-1986, when they were enrolled in one of the state's first 1-11 pre-kindergarten programs; and 1-12 WHEREAS, These 12 students faced significant obstacles when 1-13 they began their education, but through hard work and determination 1-14 they have reached their goal of attaining a high school diploma; 1-15 and 1-16 WHEREAS, Members of the Bridgeport High School senior class 1-17 have laid a solid foundation for their ongoing success and they 1-18 will surely be among the future generation of leaders of the Lone 1-19 Star State; now, therefore, be it 1-20 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 76th Texas 1-21 Legislature hereby congratulate the Bridgeport High School 1-22 graduating class of 1999 and extend a warm welcome to the students 1-23 on the occasion of their visit to the State Capitol; and, be it 1-24 further 2-1 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 2-2 prepared for the Bridgeport High School Class of 1999 as an 2-3 expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
