R E S O L U T I O N
1-1 WHEREAS, The passing of Robert C. Noel on March 22, 1999, at
1-2 the age of 63, has brought a great loss to the many friends and
1-3 relatives of this esteemed gentleman; and
1-4 WHEREAS, Born January 10, 1936, Mr. Noel pursued a successful
1-5 career as a millwright for many years and was also a devoted
1-6 husband and father; and
1-7 WHEREAS, He dedicated considerable time and energy to public
1-8 safety as president of the Brazoria County Fireman's Association
1-9 and as a member of the Liverpool Volunteer Fire Department; in
1-10 addition, he was a committeeman and sponsor in the Brazoria County
1-11 Fair Association; and
1-12 WHEREAS, Robert C. Noel was respected by all who were
1-13 privileged to know him; although his presence will be deeply
1-14 missed, his remarkable spirit will surely live on in the hearts of
1-15 the many individuals whose lives he touched during his time on this
1-16 earth; now, therefore, be it
1-17 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 76th Texas
1-18 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Robert C. Noel and
1-19 extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his wife,
1-20 Brenda Noel; to his children, Alex and Lance Noel; to his mother,
1-21 Rita Noel; to his brothers, Maurice, John, and James Noel; to his
1-22 sister, Marylynn Nellies; and to his grandchildren, Natalie and
1-23 Hannah Noel; and, be it further
1-24 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2-1 prepared for the members of his family and that when the Texas
2-2 House of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of
2-3 Robert C. Noel.
