                                 R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, The untimely passing of Anthony Dale Kondrat of
 1-2     Grand Junction, Colorado, on April 11, 1999, at the age of 33, has
 1-3     brought a profound loss to the family and many friends of this
 1-4     esteemed young man, and it is most appropriate that we honor his
 1-5     memory at this time; and
 1-6           WHEREAS, This Austin native was born on February 13, 1966, to
 1-7     Walter and Judith Kondrat; proud of his Texas heritage, he had also
 1-8     learned to love Colorado, where he had made his home for the past
 1-9     10 years; and
1-10           WHEREAS, Mr. Kondrat was employed as a technical engineer by
1-11     Fosroc Mining Company, and he took great pride in his work and
1-12     always endeavored to do his best; and
1-13           WHEREAS, He loved sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys
1-14     football team, and enjoyed sharing his love of softball with young
1-15     people; with those closest to him, he also enjoyed spending time
1-16     throwing darts and perfecting his golf game, a recently developed
1-17     interest; and
1-18           WHEREAS, During his short time here, he reminded us that the
1-19     ability to give and inspire love is not limited by age or time;
1-20     this cherished young man was a loving friend and had an especially
1-21     close relationship with his "Papaw," Jesse Phillips; and
1-22           WHEREAS, Although it is painful to say good-bye to one so
1-23     young and full of promise; it is fitting to remember that while
1-24     Mr. Kondrat's time here was brief, his life had a profound impact
 2-1     on those around him, and his unique spirit of friendship and
 2-2     devotion will surely live on in the hearts and minds of all those
 2-3     whose lives he touched; now, therefore, be it          
 2-4           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 76th Texas
 2-5     Legislature hereby honor the memory of Anthony Dale Kondrat and
 2-6     extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his wife,
 2-7     Lisa Kondrat; to his daughters, Brandy, Candice, and Alex Kondrat;
 2-8     to his parents, Walter and Judith Kondrat; to his sister, Kathie
 2-9     Dunavant and her husband, Ray, and their children, Benjamin and
2-10     Jackson Dunavant; to his grandfather, Jesse Phillips; and to the
2-11     many other friends and relatives of this fine young man; and, be it
2-12     further
2-13           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2-14     prepared  for the members of his family and that when the Texas
2-15     House of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of
2-16     Anthony Dale Kondrat.
