                                 R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, The passing of Patricia "Pat" Ann Ladewig of Bryan
 1-2     on February 3, 1999, at the age of 60, brought a great loss to the
 1-3     family and friends of this esteemed woman, and it is indeed
 1-4     appropriate to honor her life at this time; and
 1-5           WHEREAS, Born in Louise, Texas,  to Emory and Eunice Sims
 1-6     Branscum on January 3, 1939, Mrs. Ladewig was a graduate of Louise
 1-7     High School and attended Wharton County Junior College and Blinn
 1-8     Junior College; she married Donald Ladewig on December 19, 1958,
 1-9     and enjoyed a strong and loving marriage that was blessed with
1-10     three children and four grandchildren; and
1-11           WHEREAS, This exemplary woman was the executive secretary of
1-12     Texas A&M University president Frank Vandiver, and her service in
1-13     that role was characterized by her trademark dedication and
1-14     diligence; she had previously been employed in the new accounts
1-15     divisions of City National Bank in Bryan and Commerce Bank in
1-16     College Station; and
1-17           WHEREAS, A member of Central Baptist Church, Mrs. Ladewig was
1-18     a respected member of the Bryan community, and although she will be
1-19     missed by all who were privileged to know her, she will be fondly
1-20     remembered for years to come by the many people whose lives she
1-21     touched; now, therefore, be it
1-22           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 76th Texas
1-23     Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Patricia "Pat" Ann
1-24     Ladewig and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family:
 2-1     to her husband, Donald Ladewig; to her daughters, Traci Morgan,
 2-2     Terri Snider, and Tammi Caskey, and sons-in-law, Terry Morgan and
 2-3     Mark Caskey; to her mother, Eunice Branscum; to her grandchildren,
 2-4     Megan and Jared Caskey and Ashleigh and Cody Snider; to her
 2-5     brothers, Marty Branscum and Jack Branscum; and to the many other
 2-6     relatives and friends of this beloved woman; and, be it further
 2-7           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 2-8     prepared for the members of her family and that when the Texas
 2-9     House of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of
2-10     Patricia "Pat" Ann Ladewig.
