R E S O L U T I O N 1-1 WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is proud to honor 1-2 the Richland High School fast-pitch softball team for its 1-3 outstanding 1999 season; and 1-4 WHEREAS, Head coach Hank Fulkerson and assistant coach Lesa 1-5 Master skillfully guided the Rebels to a stellar 31-10-1 record; 1-6 the champions of District 6-5A, the mighty Rebels marched deep into 1-7 the UIL state playoffs, claiming the bi-district, area, regional 1-8 quarterfinal, regional semi-final, and regional titles; and 1-9 WHEREAS, This remarkable season would not have been possible 1-10 without the contributions of all the talented team members, 1-11 including Amber Ashley, Kristi Cooke, Jamie Cowan, Jessica Dubose, 1-12 Rachel Goodwin, Staci Greear, Bryanna Hill, Brynn Kamenicky, Haley 1-13 King, Ashleigh Lee, Amanda Lehrman, Traci Moore, Ragen Rutherford, 1-14 Lamia Scott, Brandi Wicker, Jodie Wilcox, Lindsay Wilhelmson, and 1-15 Kristin Williams; and 1-16 WHEREAS, The dedication and competitive spirit of the 1-17 Richland High School fast-pitch softball team are truly 1-18 commendable, and it is indeed appropriate to recognize the team for 1-19 its noteworthy achievements; now, therefore, be it 1-20 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 76th Texas 1-21 Legislature hereby congratulate the players and coaches of the 1-22 Richland High School fast-pitch softball team for an impressive 1-23 1999 season and extend to them sincere best wishes for continued 1-24 success; and, be it further 2-1 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 2-2 prepared for the Richland High School fast-pitch softball team as 2-3 an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
