                                 R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, It has long been the custom of the House of
 1-2     Representatives of the State of Texas to honor the children of its
 1-3     members by electing them to the office of mascot; and
 1-4           WHEREAS, Since 1983, the house of representatives has also
 1-5     bestowed special recognition on the grandchildren of its members by
 1-6     naming them the honorary mascots of this house; and
 1-7           WHEREAS, A roster of members' grandchildren has been compiled
 1-8     for this special designation; now, therefore, be it
 1-9           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 76th Texas
1-10     Legislature hereby designate the following grandchildren of house
1-11     members as honorary mascots:
1-12           Andrew James Richards, grandson of Representative Ray Allen;
1-13           Bryce Kenneth Baker, grandson of Representative Kim Brimer;
1-14           Tabor Cobern, Denton Brown, and Tory Cobern, grandchildren of
1-15     Representative Betty Brown;
1-16           Madeleine Hannah Allene Strain, granddaughter of
1-17     Representative Dianne White Delisi;
1-18           Emily Michelle O'Neal, granddaughter of Representative
1-19     Harryette Ehrhardt;
1-20           Katherine Shelton Glaze, granddaughter of Representative Bob
1-21     Glaze;

3-10           RESOLVED, That the names of the honorary mascots and their
3-11     grandparents be placed on the picture panel of the House of
3-12     Representatives of the 76th Texas Legislature; and, be it further
3-13           RESOLVED, That an official certificate be prepared for each
3-14     honorary mascot as a memento of this honor.
