                                 R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives takes great pride
 1-2     in recognizing Charles and Vera Kimble of Midland on their 65th
 1-3     wedding anniversary, for their many years of marriage indeed merits
 1-4     special legislative recognition; and
 1-5           WHEREAS, Mr. Kimble and the former Vera Gillis began their
 1-6     life together when they were united in marriage on February 10,
 1-7     1934, in a ceremony at the Methodist Church in Indianola, Iowa; and
 1-8           WHEREAS, Their loving union has been blessed with five
 1-9     children, Dallas Kimble, Steven Kimble, Mary Jo Webb, Carolyn
1-10     Kimble, and Monte Kimble, and the love and memories this remarkable
1-11     family shares have only grown with the years, particularly with the
1-12     addition of 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and
1-13           WHEREAS, The couple moved to Midland in 1953; Mr. Kimble is
1-14     retired from a successful career with Northern Natural Gas, while
1-15     Mrs. Kimble continues to dedicate her time and energy to their
1-16     home; and
1-17           WHEREAS, For more than six decades, Charles and Vera Kimble
1-18     have served as an inspiration for their family and many friends
1-19     alike, and it is a great privilege to honor them at this time; now,
1-20     therefore, be it
1-21           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 76th Texas
1-22     Legislature hereby congratulate Charles and Vera Kimble on the
1-23     occasion of their 65th wedding anniversary and extend to them
1-24     warmest best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further
 2-1           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 2-2     prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Kimble as an expression of high regard by
 2-3     the Texas House of Representatives.
