                                 R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is proud to
 1-2     congratulate Matthew William Adkisson for completing the
 1-3     requirements necessary to gain Eagle Scout status, and he is indeed
 1-4     worthy of special recognition for his hard work and dedication to
 1-5     this noteworthy pursuit; and
 1-6           WHEREAS, A valued member of San Antonio's Boy Scout Troop 23,
 1-7     Mr. Adkisson began his association with the organization as a Cub
 1-8     Scout and has steadily progressed through the ranks, earning the
 1-9     respect and admiration of his scoutmaster and fellow scouts; and
1-10           WHEREAS, This exceptional young man has been an assistant
1-11     senior patrol leader and is a recipient of the Arrow of Light
1-12     Award; he has earned 21 merit badges for basic scouting activities
1-13     such as citizenship, first aid, and family life, while also
1-14     mastering the requisite skills for badges in computers, sailing,
1-15     and scholarship; and
1-16           WHEREAS, Matthew William Adkisson is a source of great pride
1-17     to his family and friends, particularly to his parents, Gregory and
1-18     Katie Adkisson, and it is truly a pleasure to pay tribute to this
1-19     commendable Eagle Scout at this time; now, therefore, be it
1-20           RESOLVED, That the Texas House of Representatives hereby
1-21     congratulate Matthew William Adkisson on attaining the rank of
1-22     Eagle Scout and extend to him warmest wishes for continued success
1-23     in all his endeavors; and, be it further
1-24           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 2-1     prepared for Mr. Adkisson as an expression of high regard by the
 2-2     Texas House of Representatives.
