R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, April 29, 1999, was indeed a special day for Pamela
 1-2     Pechal and Bobby Harold Pechal, Jr., for it marked the occasion of
 1-3     the birth of their adorable baby boy, Bryan Paul Pechal; and
 1-4           WHEREAS, Although born at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in
 1-5     Lawrence, Kansas, Bryan Paul was actually born over Texas soil
 1-6     because earth from the heart of Texas was placed under the delivery
 1-7     room table; and
 1-8           WHEREAS, Despite the geographical circumstances of his birth,
 1-9     Bryan Paul's Lone Star roots run deep, as the Pechal family has
1-10     resided in Texas since 1846; he is descended from five generations
1-11     of Texans and he will undoubtedly live up to the pioneering
1-12     reputation that precedes him; and
1-13           WHEREAS, Bryan Paul's birth has brought great joy to his
1-14     parents and to his grandparents, noted Texans Mary Ann Pechal and
1-15     Bobby Harold Pechal, Sr., as well as to his many other relatives,
1-16     and it is indeed fitting that this handsome new addition to the
1-17     Pechal family be accorded honorary Lone Star citizenship; now,
1-18     therefore, be it
1-19           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 76th Texas
1-20     Legislature hereby congratulate Pamela Pechal and Bobby Harold
1-21     Pechal, Jr., on the birth of their son and officially recognize
1-22     Bryan Paul Pechal as an honorary citizen of Texas, with all the
1-23     rights and privileges accorded those individuals native to the Lone
1-24     Star State; and, be it further
 2-1           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 2-2     prepared for Bryan Paul and his parents as formal documentation of
 2-3     his honorary Texas citizenship and as an expression of high regard
 2-4     by the Texas House of Representatives.
