R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, Joe Cisneros has recently won election to the board
 1-2     of trustees of the La Villa Independent School District, and it is
 1-3     an appropriate opportunity to honor him for his exemplary
 1-4     dedication to enhancing the education of Texas schoolchildren; and
 1-5           WHEREAS, Providing young citizens with a quality education is
 1-6     essential to creating a prosperous future for our state and nation,
 1-7     and public schools are the cornerstone of this crucial endeavor;
 1-8     and
 1-9           WHEREAS, Local school board members unite their efforts with
1-10     those of parents, classroom teachers, and other education
1-11     professionals to provide the best possible learning environment for
1-12     area students; and
1-13           WHEREAS, The individuals who serve on local school boards are
1-14     fueled by an unwavering commitment to meeting students' current
1-15     needs and to anticipating future challenges as well; and
1-16           WHEREAS, Joe Cisneros seeks to broaden the path of
1-17     educational opportunity for students in his area, and he is indeed
1-18     worthy of special recognition at this time; now, therefore, be it
1-19           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 76th Texas
1-20     Legislature hereby congratulate Joe Cisneros on his election to the
1-21     board of trustees of the La Villa Independent School District and
1-22     extend to him sincere best wishes for future success; and, be it
1-23     further
1-24           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 2-1     prepared for Joe Cisneros as an expression of high regard by the
 2-2     Texas House of Representatives.
