                                 R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is proud to honor
 1-2     executive director Steven D. Adrian and the employees of the House
 1-3     Business Office for their exceptional service in support of house
 1-4     members and their staffs; and
 1-5           WHEREAS, Capably recording, summarizing, and analyzing
 1-6     financial transactions for the house this session is the office's
 1-7     accounting department, which includes Nicole Bates, Gerri Foster,
 1-8     Diane Grant, Ann Hawkins, Kathryn Jones, Betty McLean, Sharon
 1-9     McNabb, Donna McNees, and Scott Siebert; and
1-10           WHEREAS, Responsible for the outstanding audiovisual services
1-11     that have been provided during the 76th Legislature are Glenn Hill,
1-12     Steven Kaufman, Michael McCarter, John McMurray, Roman Morales,
1-13     James Petty, Richard Sanders, Suzanne Schreve, and Tiffany Wilson;
1-14     and
1-15           WHEREAS, Communication division director John Bender has been
1-16     aided in his important duties by Tammy Gipson; Robert Mark Mullen,
1-17     the project manager for the general house, has also been essential
1-18     to the legislature's efficient operations; and
1-19           WHEREAS, The payroll and personnel department, under the
1-20     direction of manager Janice Vastine, has skillfully addressed the
1-21     enormous staffing and payroll considerations brought on by the
1-22     advent of the session, with the assistance of Virginia Bostic,
1-23     Jason Foster, Erika Lacey, Frankie McKenzie, Barbara Mokry, and Jan
1-24     Woolsey; and
 2-1           WHEREAS, The photography department, led by manager Alex
 2-2     Labry, has documented this legislature's place in history through
 2-3     the talented photography of Elizabeth Albrecht, Kirstin
 2-4     Anderson-Kuninger, Jesse Herrera, Joe Kelly Obenhaus, Monti
 2-5     Patterson, and Jeffrey Wilson; and
 2-6           WHEREAS, The tremendous volume of mail generated by the
 2-7     regular session has been expeditiously distributed by post office
 2-8     manager Clarence Hardeman and Hudson Allen, Jr., Vernon Green,
 2-9     Quincy Jones, Estroberto Martinez, Anthony Smith, Joel Stallion,
2-10     and Irene Vallejo; and
2-11           WHEREAS, Under the leadership of property administration
2-12     manager Joyce Faykus and property warehouse manager Gale Kloesel,
2-13     the property department staff of Tharon G. Caraway, John Fletcher,
2-14     Stephen Geis, John Honeycutt, Patricia Mills, Leon Reed, Betty
2-15     Shuvalov, Kelly Simmons, and Erick Vega have kept pace with the
2-16     legislators' inventory requirements; and
2-17           WHEREAS, Supplying offices with the materials they need to
2-18     operate efficiently have been the dedicated employees of the
2-19     purchasing and supply department, including manager Dean Howard,
2-20     Lidia Castillo, Ron Hughes, Michael Morelli, and Gary Richter; and
2-21           WHEREAS, The valued reproduction department includes manager
2-22     Ronnie Welch, Tomas Juan Arroyo, Patricia Barratt, David Cavazos,
2-23     Larry Cikalo, Gerald Crawford, Susan Garza, Don Hays, Cindi Henry,
2-24     Lisa Jones, Michael Lopez, Peggy Miller, Craig Peterson, Donna
2-25     Russell, George Sam, Jr., Bonnie Simpson, Jimmy Starr, Paul P.
2-26     Tello, Jr., and Joe Torres; and
2-27           WHEREAS, Adding to the security of house members and their
 3-1     staffs are manager Joe White and Louis Berron, Robert Kenneth
 3-2     Dittlinger, William T. Head, Sr., Jose Leos, Louis Lopez, Jr.,
 3-3     Ralph Rios, Christina Sefara, Leroy Swyhart, and Frank Wilson; and
 3-4           WHEREAS, The invaluable special services department includes
 3-5     manager Alex Besa, Esther R. Cardiel, Ramona Espinoza, Elida
 3-6     Gutierrez, Laura Medlock, Yvonne Mendieta, Jimmy Morris, Annette
 3-7     Nichols, Jose Perez, Mario Perez, Lupe Ruiz, and Prentiss Williams;
 3-8     and
 3-9           WHEREAS, The success of this legislative session would not
3-10     have been possible without the significant contributions of each of
3-11     these devoted individuals, and their many long hours of service to
3-12     this chamber and the State of Texas are indeed commendable; now,
3-13     therefore, be it
3-14           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 76th Texas
3-15     Legislature hereby honor the employees of the House Business Office
3-16     and extend to them sincere best wishes for the future.
