R E S O L U T I O N
1-1 WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is proud to honor
1-2 Joanne Savage for her outstanding service as a legislative aide in
1-3 the office of State Representative Glen Maxey; and
1-4 WHEREAS, Joanne Savage, affectionately called "Creatina," did
1-5 attend Plano High School but did not play football there, and she
1-6 did graduate cum laude from Rice University; and
1-7 WHEREAS, "Creatina" moved to Austin and proved she could tend
1-8 bar and sling hash as well as any good Phi Beta Kappa; and
1-9 WHEREAS, "Creatina," in her capacity as a legislative aide,
1-10 is as dedicated as a preacher tracking sin; she also has the good
1-11 horse sense to circle back around and work next session; and
1-12 WHEREAS, Friendly as a puppy and helpful to all who seek her
1-13 assistance, this woman's wonderful smile is as wide as a wave in a
1-14 slop bucket; and
1-15 WHEREAS, Joanne Savage has demonstrated commitment and
1-16 perseverance to her post throughout this regular session and she is
1-17 indeed worthy of special recognition at this time; now, therefore,
1-18 be it
1-19 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 76th Texas
1-20 Legislature hereby commend Joanne Savage for her dedication and
1-21 integrity as a valued member of Representative Glen Maxey's staff
1-22 and extend to her best wishes for success and happiness in the
1-23 future; and, be it further
1-24 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2-1 prepared for Ms. Savage as an expression of high regard by the
2-2 Texas House of Representatives.
