                                 R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is proud to honor
 1-2     Eddie Rodriguez for his exemplary contributions as a staffer in the
 1-3     office of Representative Glen Maxey; and
 1-4           WHEREAS, Eddie Rodriguez is one of the finest young
 1-5     Democratic leaders of Travis County; he is revered as the stately
 1-6     senior staffer in the office because he worked last session and
 1-7     actually knew there was both a house and a senate; and
 1-8           WHEREAS, He may hail from down in the Valley, but Eddie has
 1-9     had mountaintop experiences while working in Representative Maxey's
1-10     office; and
1-11           WHEREAS, Although he may be the tall hog at the trough, he
1-12     never lets his position of power make him think the sun comes up
1-13     just to hear him crow; in fact, Eddie's professionalism is all beer
1-14     and no foam; and
1-15           WHEREAS, Dubbed "Shrimp" by his coworkers, Eddie is known as
1-16     "Fast Eddie" by the boss because of the lightning speed with which
1-17     he accomplishes even the most trivial and ridiculous requests; and
1-18           WHEREAS, Eddie Rodriguez has demonstrated commitment and
1-19     perseverence throughout yet another memorable session, and he is
1-20     indeed worthy of special legislative recognition at this time; now,
1-21     therefore, be it
1-22           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 76th Texas
1-23     Legislature hereby commend Eddie Rodriguez for the dedication and
1-24     integrity he has shown as a valued member of Representative Glen
 2-1     Maxey's staff and extend to him best wishes for continued success
 2-2     and happiness; and, be it further
 2-3           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 2-4     prepared for Mr. Rodriguez as an expression of high regard by the
 2-5     Texas House of Representatives.
