No. 1322 76R18108 JHS-D R E S O L U T I O N 1-1 WHEREAS, San Antonio's Redland Oaks Elementary School of the 1-2 North East Independent School District has been awarded an 1-3 "Exemplary" ranking from the Texas Education Agency for the fifth 1-4 consecutive year, and this achievement is truly worthy of special 1-5 legislative recognition; and 1-6 WHEREAS, Established in 1989 under the guidance of Principal 1-7 Ruth Fowler, Ph.D., Redland Oaks Elementary School has become a 1-8 vital part of the local community; the school's curriculum 1-9 emphasizes the education of the whole child, and parental 1-10 involvement is encouraged as a necessary component in the positive 1-11 development of the school's students; and 1-12 WHEREAS, This noteworthy educational facility is currently 1-13 overseen by Principal Marilyn Moczygemba, who has continued her 1-14 predecessor's legacy of dedication and involvement; together with 1-15 her outstanding faculty and staff, she has maintained the school's 1-16 nurturing atmosphere, continuing the tradition of developing 1-17 self-confidence and self-worth among the school's students; and 1-18 WHEREAS, Redland Oaks Elementary School's commitment to 1-19 focusing on each child as an individual has reaped great benefits 1-20 in terms of encouraging students' socialization skills and 1-21 promoting academic achievement, and the school has further 1-22 established its reputation as the place where "Tiny acorns into 1-23 mighty oaks grow"; now, therefore, be it 1-24 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 76th Texas 2-1 Legislature hereby recognize Principal Marilyn Moczygemba and the 2-2 students, faculty, staff, and parents of Redland Oaks Elementary 2-3 School and commend all those associated with this outstanding 2-4 educational institution for their hard work and dedication toward 2-5 achieving an "Exemplary" ranking from the Texas Education Agency; 2-6 and, be it further 2-7 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 2-8 prepared for display at Redland Oaks Elementary School as an 2-9 expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
