R E S O L U T I O N
 1-1           WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives takes great pride
 1-2     in recognizing the 50th anniversary of YMCA Camp Grady Spruce, for
 1-3     its half-century of service indeed merits special legislative
 1-4     recognition; and
 1-5           WHEREAS, The camp is located in Graford, on beautiful Possum
 1-6     Kingdom Lake; with a stunning view of the Hell's Gate landmark,
 1-7     Camp Grady Spruce enjoys one of the most scenic locations in our
 1-8     state; and
 1-9           WHEREAS, The remarkable beauty of the land is surpassed only
1-10     by the spirit of the people who have contributed so greatly to the
1-11     camp throughout its existence; and
1-12           WHEREAS, Across America, the tradition of summer camp is a
1-13     time-honored one, and the prestige and renown Camp Grady Spruce
1-14     enjoys directly reflect the spirit and resources of the many Texas
1-15     volunteers who have supported the camp; and
1-16           WHEREAS, Children from across the United States and around
1-17     the world have shared in the important experiences and events this
1-18     worthy camp has offered for five decades, and it is a privilege to
1-19     honor Camp Grady Spruce at this time; now, therefore, be it
1-20           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 76th Texas
1-21     Legislature hereby commemorate the 50th anniversary of YMCA Camp
1-22     Grady Spruce and extend to all those associated with this
1-23     exceptional organization warmest best wishes.
