AN ACT
 1-1     relating to the creation of a county court at law in Fort Bend
 1-2     County.
 1-3           BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
 1-4           SECTION 1.  Section 25.0811, Government Code, is amended to
 1-5     read as follows:
 1-6           Sec. 25.0811.  FORT BEND COUNTY.  Fort Bend County has the
 1-7     following statutory county courts:
 1-8                 (1)  County Court at Law No. 1 of Fort Bend County;
 1-9                 (2)  County Court at Law No. 2 of Fort Bend County;
1-10     [and]
1-11                 (3)  County Court at Law No. 3 of Fort Bend County; and
1-12                 (4)  County Court at Law No. 4 of Fort Bend County.
1-13           SECTION 2.  County Court at Law No. 4 of Fort Bend County is
1-14     created and this Act takes effect January 1, 2001.
1-15           SECTION 3.  The importance of this legislation and the
1-16     crowded condition of the calendars in both houses create an
1-17     emergency and an imperative public necessity that the
1-18     constitutional rule requiring bills to be read on three several
1-19     days in each house be suspended, and this rule is hereby suspended.
