By: Brown S.B. No. 392 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT 1-1 relating to bonds of certain navigation districts. 1-2 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: 1-3 SECTION 1. Section 60.350, Water Code, is repealed. 1-4 SECTION 2. (a) The repeal by this Act of Section 60.350, 1-5 Water Code, does not affect the applicability of Section 49.181, 1-6 Water Code, to bonds with regard to which an application and report 1-7 were submitted to the Texas Natural Resource Conservation 1-8 Commission under Subsection (b), Section 49.181, Water Code, before 1-9 the effective date of this Act. Those bonds are governed by 1-10 Section 49.181, Water Code, and Section 60.350, Water Code, 1-11 continues in effect as to those bonds for that purpose. 1-12 (b) The repeal by this Act of Section 60.350, Water Code, 1-13 does not affect the applicability of Section 49.183, Water Code, to 1-14 bonds issued before the effective date of this Act. Those bonds 1-15 are governed by Section 49.183, Water Code, and Section 60.350, 1-16 Water Code, continues in effect as to those bonds for that purpose. 1-17 SECTION 3. The importance of this legislation and the 1-18 crowded condition of the calendars in both houses create an 1-19 emergency and an imperative public necessity that the 1-20 constitutional rule requiring bills to be read on three several 1-21 days in each house be suspended, and this rule is hereby suspended, 1-22 and that this Act take effect and be in force from and after its 1-23 passage, and it is so enacted.
