By Brown S.B. No. 392 76R4316 SKT-D A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 1-1 AN ACT 1-2 relating to bonds of certain navigation districts. 1-3 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: 1-4 SECTION 1. Section 60.350, Water Code, is repealed. 1-5 SECTION 2. (a) The repeal by this Act of Section 60.350, 1-6 Water Code, does not affect the applicability of Section 49.181, 1-7 Water Code, to bonds with regard to which an application and report 1-8 were submitted to the Texas Natural Resource Conservation 1-9 Commission under Section 49.181(b), Water Code, before the 1-10 effective date of this Act. Those bonds are governed by Section 1-11 49.181, Water Code, and Section 60.350, Water Code, continues in 1-12 effect as to those bonds for that purpose. 1-13 (b) The repeal by this Act of Section 60.350, Water Code, 1-14 does not affect the applicability of Section 49.183, Water Code, to 1-15 bonds issued before the effective date of this Act. Those bonds 1-16 are governed by Section 49.183, Water Code, and Section 60.350, 1-17 Water Code, continues in effect as to those bonds for that purpose. 1-18 SECTION 3. The importance of this legislation and the 1-19 crowded condition of the calendars in both houses create an 1-20 emergency and an imperative public necessity that the 1-21 constitutional rule requiring bills to be read on three several 1-22 days in each house be suspended, and this rule is hereby suspended, 1-23 and that this Act take effect and be in force from and after its 1-24 passage, and it is so enacted.
