1-10 (b) Notwithstanding Section 502.158, the owner of a motor
1-11 vehicle or a trailer may designate an initial or a renewal
1-12 registration period for that vehicle so that the registration

2-3 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 1999.
