                                A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
                                       AN ACT
 1-1     relating to the amount charged for bounties for predatory animals.
 1-2           BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
 1-3                 SECTION 1.  Section 825.031 (c), Health and Safety
 1-4     Code, is amended to read as follows:
 1-5                 (c)  The commissioners court may determine the amount
 1-6     of a bounty to be paid under this section for each animal.  The
 1-7     bounty shall be paid from the general fund of the county by a
 1-8     warrant drawn on that fund by the county judge on presentation of
 1-9     proof of destruction required by the commissioners court.  [A bounty
1-10     paid under this section may not exceed $20 for each animal unless
1-11     approved by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission.]
