1-7 Amend S.B. No. 1429 on page 1, at end of line 21, by deleting the
1-8 bracketed language and adding the following: A bounty paid under
1-9 this section may not exceed $50 [$20] for each animal unless
1-10 approved by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission.

1-13 relating to the amount paid for bounties for predatory animals.
1-14 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1-15 SECTION 1. Subsection (c), Section 825.031, Health and
1-16 Safety Code, is amended to read as follows:
1-17 (c) The commissioners court may determine the amount of a
1-18 bounty to be paid under this section for each animal. The bounty
1-19 shall be paid from the general fund of the county by a warrant
1-20 drawn on that fund by the county judge on presentation of proof of
1-21 destruction required by the commissioners court. [A bounty paid
1-22 under this section may not exceed $20 for each animal unless
1-23 approved by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission.]
