                                CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
 1-1           WHEREAS, Dr. Terry Myers alleges that:
 1-2                 (1)  on or about September 28, 1998,  Dr. Terry Myers
 1-3     was summarily terminated by Texas Tech University Health Sciences
 1-4     Center;
 1-5                 (2)  the termination was wrongful; and
 1-6                 (3)  Dr. Terry Myers is entitled to damages and other
 1-7     relief as the court deems appropriate; now, therefore, be it
 1-8           RESOLVED by the Legislature of the State of Texas, That Dr.
 1-9     Terry Myers is granted permission to sue the State of Texas and
1-10     Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center subject to Chapter
1-11     107, Civil Practice and Remedies Code; and, be it further
1-12           RESOLVED, That the president of Texas Tech University Health
1-13     Sciences Center be served process as provided by Section
1-14     107.002(a)(3), Civil Practice and Remedies Code.
