1-1                          SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 84
 1-2           WHEREAS, The City of San Antonio and the State of Texas
 1-3     are justly proud of one of their fine young citizens,
 1-4     Klint Irving Dailey, who recently achieved the rank of
 1-5     Eagle Scout; and
 1-6           WHEREAS, This outstanding young gentleman brought honor
 1-7     to himself, his family, his troop, his community, and his state
 1-8     in earning the coveted Eagle Badge; and
 1-9           WHEREAS, Klint completed a service project which required
1-10     him to exercise his leadership abilities and at the same time
1-11     benefit his community; his project was planning and organizing
1-12     a restoration of playgrounds in the Universal City area; and
1-13           WHEREAS, Few are ever privileged to be named among the
1-14     ranks of the elite corps of Eagle Scouts; only two out of every
1-15     100 Boy Scouts reach this lofty position; and
1-16           WHEREAS, Following the principles of the Scout oath and
1-17     promise, Klint advanced from Tenderfoot, Second, First, Star,
1-18     and Life classes to that of Eagle Scout; he is truly an exemplary
1-19     citizen of the State of Texas; now, therefore, be it
1-20           RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
1-21     76th Legislature, hereby congratulate Klint Dailey of
1-22     Troop 624 on attaining the rank of Eagle Scout and commend
1-23     him on this great achievement; and, be it further
1-24           RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
 2-1     Eagle Scout Dailey as a token of great admiration and esteem
 2-2     from the Texas Senate.
